Well, what a month June has been! 💛 It feels like I’ve been away forever, and yet somehow like I blinked and the month was over.

We kicked things off by welcoming lots of lovely new members into Ignite—which always feels a bit like Christmas. I’ve loved seeing so many new faces settling in and getting inspired, and I can’t wait to watch their journeys unfold.

But the big highlight of June? My Alaskan cruise. Oh my goodness, Alaska! I was lucky enough to be part of another incredible cruise, and this time we set sail from beautiful Seattle. It was my first time there, and I absolutely loved it (even the fish-throwing at Pike Place Market… which is definitely a thing, in case you were wondering!).

The ship—Celebrity Edge—was absolutely stunning, and meeting so many members in person was the icing on the cake. Honestly, nothing beats those real-life hugs, shared laughs, and the joy of finally connecting beyond the screen. A huge shoutout to the gorgeous Julie and Kim (all the way from Australia!) and everyone else who made it so special. You’re all amazing.

We explored some pretty magical places—totem pole tours, breathtaking mountains in Skagway, and yes, a slightly dramatic moment when our ship was blown off the pier in Juneau (spoiler: we’re all okay!). Sadly, our whale-watching tour got cancelled, but I did manage to spot a tail or two from the deck, so I’m counting that as a win!

One of my absolute favourite parts? Teaching a live workshop to over 50 wonderful coloured pencil creatives onboard. We drew my Scruffy Dog together, laughed loads, and—much to everyone’s delight—I banned electric pencil sharpeners during the session (if you know, you know 😂). It was such a joyful, heartwarming experience, and reminded me again why I love what I do so much.

Now I’m back home—with a bit of a cough and a whole lot of jet lag—but feeling recharged and full of ideas. There’s so much happening behind the scenes, and I’m excited to dive back into coloured pencil drawing, creating, and sharing more goodness with you all.

Thank you for being here, whether you joined me from the ship, from your studio, or somewhere in between. I’m so grateful for this community. Here’s to an exciting July ahead!
