I probably should have started my May Coloured Pencil Chronicles video with something a bit more professional than a mouthful of almonds (rookie error), but here we are, real as ever, a bit crunchy, and diving into one heck of a catch-up.
Here’s a peek at what’s inside the video (and my post-desert brain):
🌵 A Transformational Retreat in the Desert
Sunshine, silence, and some serious soul-searching. I went in feeling a bit tangled and came out standing taller, lighter, and clearer than I’ve felt in years. I let go of things I didn’t realise I was holding onto, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and that exhausting habit of trying to be everything to everyone. This wasn’t just a trip, it was an awakening.
🦋 The Bonny You Know, But Unfiltered
I’ve come back with this unstoppable urge to be even more me. To speak more from the heart, to draw what I feel, and to share the messy, magical middle bits of life not just the polished end results. I’m not just an artist. I’m a woman in her power. (And yes, I know that sounds a bit woo… but honestly? It’s true.)
🎨 Coloured Pencil Week—What. A. Week!
I just wrapped up our biggest Coloured Pencil Week yet, and wow what a gorgeous, creative whirlwind! Together we drew a tiny hare, a miniature owl, and the most darling little deer. I welcomed thousands of lovely creatives into the community (many for the very first time!), and I’m still smiling from the energy of it all.
🔥 My Ignite Coloured Pencil Membership Is Growing and Glowing
A massive thank you to my amazing Ignite Members new and long-standing! You’ve been sharing your wins, lifting each other up, and diving into my tutorials. It feels like the community is stronger than ever.
🧡 Coming Up Next…
I’ve got some really exciting things in the pipeline: more tutorials, big plans for the app (yep, it’s happening!), and a little something special brewing for my 10-year anniversary of picking up pencils again. Can you believe it’s nearly been a decade?!
So go on, pop the kettle on, and have a watch of the full video Here!
And don’t forget to follow along with my Facebook and Instagram pages for plenty of updates, behind-the-scenes goodness and the usual dose of me getting all passionate about something that’s just blown my mind (again).
