January has been a full, creative month in the best possible way. So I wanted to sit down and share a relaxed round-up of what’s been unfolding, both on the drawing board and behind the scenes.
This episode of my January Coloured Pencil Chronicles is very much in the spirit of the Chronicles: honest, unfiltered, and quietly reflective. No polish, no pressure, just me chatting about drawing, creativity, and the small but meaningful shifts that have been happening as we step into a new year.
In this episode, I chat about:
Studio updates and what I’ve learned about creating a space – and a schedule – that actually allows time to draw
- Ignite Your Spark Week and the joy of drawing alongside thousands of people
- Welcoming new members into my coloured pencil membership and seeing their coloured pencil confidence grow day by day
- My brand new Fire Horse series, created as we head into the Year of the Fire Horse
- The drawings I’ve been working on – from quick Art Club sketches to pieces still very much in progress
- My latest creative obsessions (journaling, fountain pens, beautiful inks)
I’m really excited to see what 2026 has in store – creatively, personally, and for all of us drawing together. Thank you for being on this journey with me and for supporting my work. It means more than I can ever quite put into words.
Now, sit back, click play, and enjoy.
