I'd drawn as a child and really wanted to be an artist, but at seventeen I was told I wasn't good enough, so I spent the next thirty years working in corporate, and drawing dropped away completely.

Over the last ten years I've come back to who I truly am. Because of all the opportunities drawing has opened up for me, I'm now just as passionate about helping others learn to draw with coloured pencils and discover the same.

I run two very successful businesses: my coloured pencil commission work and the Bonny Snowdon Academy, making six and seven figures respectively, both built purely from my passion for drawing and teaching.

I picked up coloured pencils in 2016 to help with a stressful moment in my life, and they had such an enormous impact that I fell in love with them, and with drawing, all over again

The pencils were definitely the portal, they've made everything possible for me.

I'm a single mum of three children in their twenties, with four dogs and two cats, and honestly, I love people, but I'd be quite happy just being with the animals!
