The Yorkshire Rescue is a Yorkshire-based animal rescue charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs and cats in need.

They specialise in helping animals that have been neglected, abandoned or have complex medical or behavioural needs, giving them the care, support and second chance they deserve.

IDAS is a specialist charity based in York, supporting anyone affected by domestic abuse or sexual violence.

I wish charities like this didn't have to exist, but having experienced mental abuse myself, I know just how important their work is. I'm incredibly proud that, together as an Academy, we're able to support the life-changing difference they make. 

Safe lives, free from abuse and violence

Giving back has always been a huge part of who I am.

Over the years, I've supported a number of charities that are close to my heart, but as the Academy has grown, I knew I wanted us to do something even more meaningful together.

I wanted to support charities whose values reflect everything we believe in here at Bonny Snowdon Academy - kindness, compassion, community and helping people (and animals) through difficult times.

I'm so proud that, together, we're able to support organisations that are making a genuine difference.
