My August Chronicles is here and wow – its been a whirlwind full of creativity, community, and exciting announcements. From teaching my first in-person workshop in a year, to releasing a brand-new freebie, to finishing a big personal piece (yes, my colourful Cat in a Basket which might just be my favourite yet!), I’ve loved every moment.

August Highlights ✨

First In-Person Workshop
After a year away, it was wonderful to spend a whole day drawing a golden retriever with my community. The results were incredible, and it reminded me how special it is to come together in person.

New Drawing Freebie
I’ve created a brand-new guide to help artists spot common drawing mistakes. It’s already had brilliant feedback from Ignite members, and I’m so proud of how it’s turned out. (Keep an eye out – it will be available on my website soon!)

Personal Piece: Cat in a Basket
This was my most colourful drawing yet, packed with detail, texture, and character. It was a real joy to create, and I think it may be one of my favourite pieces to date.

Great British Art Party
