I created Ignite back in 2021 because I wanted to build something far bigger than just a website full of tutorials. I wanted a supportive, encouraging home for artists – the kind of place I wish had existed when I first started drawing nearly 10 years ago.

When I first picked up coloured pencils, I spent so much time second-guessing myself. I overthought supplies, struggled with confidence, and honestly had no idea how coloured pencils actually worked.

That’s exactly why Ignite exists.

So many of my members joined feeling nervous, overwhelmed, or convinced they “couldn’t draw”  and now they’re creating artwork they never thought possible.

Because realistic coloured pencil drawing is a skill you can learn step by step.
